Renata Britvec is an independent artist working across fields. For her ongoing project Trashbus, she examines topics rarely paid attention to. She operates under the motto “taking heed of the unheeded” and focuses on what’s thrown away, left behind or lost and forgotten. As a storyteller, Renata is constantly searching for new means of expression and has been experimenting not only with different forms of text but with photography and video in the last couple of years. Since 2014, she has frequently presented her work in the context of readings, film screenings and exhibitions at Sputnik Kino Berlin. Renata lives in Berlin and travels regularly to Ex-YU.
